The original Ghostbusters, is actually underrated. Well, despite, being a top comedy of all time.
The effects are great.
People do not consider it Citizen Kane or Mulholland Drive which I will get to later.
Well directed, to appeal to everyone rather than scandal an R or milk a G, it's a good family film. It started a series of animated shows and toys, which I hold in well regardness of the Saturday Morning era.
There's also references to Rob Ager-ish conspiracies through its cinematography and the interpretations of the visuals of the film for those who hate all the pop shit.
Outside of Rick Moranis and Sigourney Weaver, Ghostbusters was led by a bunch of unknowns.
Ok, so they have that whole SNL thing going on.
Keep in mind this is the same SNL that allows Trump on the show now.
These trailers are friggin awful. Not artistic at all. Filled with bad improv to appeal to the dumbest of fans, to make a quick buck off.
A shame considering Kristen Wiig was recently in the Martian.
