My favorite movies I watched 2014

  1. Wreck-It-Ralph: a tale of the struggles of the haves and have nots
  2. Hard Eight: a tale of a unique form of loving fatricide by a father
  3. Boogie Nights: a Citizen Kane regarding the film industry
  4. The Graduate: a Simpsons event
  5. The Last Wave: an overlooked film in a year of great films
  6. The Grand Budapest Hotel: A great homage to the Shining
  7. Ghostbusters: A great inspiration of Eyes Wide Shut
  8. The Godfather vs
  9. Citizen Kane: A great battle of the best vs the best.
  10. Daisies: a European classic.
  11. House: I was in the mood for Halloween films this year. This really got me into J-horror.
  12. The Demon: A tale about Japanese families
  13. The Truman Show: A tale about America dystopia
  14. The Wolf of Wall Street: a director coming back to his finest. (I've since seen others' research for Shutter Island and am considering going back at that statement.
  15. Orpheus: Great use of film to create effects without blockbuster production values.
