Overwatch deserved to win at the Game Awards 2016

Overwatch has negligible single player features such as a Hideo Kojima-ish campaign and plot. That being said, it was a good time for it to win.
This was a good year for First Person Shooters: Super Hot, Rainbow Six: Siege and of course, Overwatch.
Overwatch was hyped. A big seller.
The FPS hasn't won a ton of press or awards over the year, despite some great innovations:
Counter Strike and Half Life 2.
Team Fortress 2.
Portal.

Sure, there's needless amounts of storyless or at least non-hentai-ish Overwatch porn, (even when the game didn't even come out,) but whatever.

Overwatch consists of a well balanced team like Team Fortress 2. There's multiple classes to play as if in a role playing game. There are multiple teams to win and strategies to use to win.
